Starting today, New Yorkers can legally order weed right to their doorstep thanks to new regulations from the Office of Cannabis Management (OCM).
OCM’s new guidance, released Friday, allows the 36 licensees granted a Conditional Adult-Use retail dispensary (CAURD) license last month to start home delivery operations for their product, even before their dispensaries are fully built out.
The move allows the state to fulfill somewhat a promise to have legal dispensary operations up and running by the end of 2022, more than a year and a half after New York first legalized marijuana, even as licit brick-and-mortar storefronts seem further on the horizon.
In this video, we will discuss marijuana delivery rolled out in New York.
