Our client, Buzztime, has been a trivia mastermind in bars and pubs in the USA for years. They wanted to keep the buzz of trivia going even during the global pandemic. Buzztime approached Idea Usher to create a unique trivia gaming app where the users can play their favorite games from the comfort of their fav game bars and restaurants.
Our Response
Using our design expertise and a big team of technical experts in this field, we created a robust gaming platform solution. Idea Usher designed Buzztime to be an intuitive gaming app for the users offering various trivia games to choose from different categories. We ensured to operate with the on-going, trending UI designs, and at the same time, provide an easy to use app for the users.

The legacy gameplay has become more accessible via phones, with this app available for Android and iPhone. Users can enjoy playing their loved games at their convenience and preferred time. They will get addicted to the game and to proving their mettle on the leaderboard.

To ensure user interest, Buzztime offers a range of different trivia game categories to choose from. Upon selecting a particular game, the user then gets provided with a plethora of topics such as geography, history, movies, music, and so on.
Leaderboard
The leaderboard displays a collection of all the high scores achieved in a specific gaming session. Through the leaderboard, the user can keep track of their progress in every game. They can also compare their ranking with their friends or any other player playing from the app too.
Invite Friends
Users can refer the app to their friends. They can send them customized links via communication & social platforms such as SMS, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, or email. Once that invited user installs the app using the referral link, Buzztime will reward the referee player with game points, which will boost their leaderboard ranking.
Fun Facts
To add a slight educational aspect to the app, Buzztime offers its user small snippets of fun facts in between games. These facts are related to the topic that the user chooses in their gaming rounds.
