CHIMAD is a digital payment and rewards platform that streamlines cashless transactions, coupon redemption, and vendor engagement. It combines secure user registration, vendor onboarding, coupon campaigns, QR‑based redemption, and an admin dashboard with real‑time analytics.
Our client needed a unified platform to manage digital coupons and payments. Existing solutions did not provide an integrated system for campaign creation, QR redemption, and vendor onboarding. To address this, we set out to build a secure, easy‑to‑use platform that rewards users and equips vendors with effective tools to manage campaigns.
The project focused on building a secure and scalable platform for digital payments, coupon programs, and vendor management, while keeping the experience simple for all users. To achieve this, the following key objectives were defined:
To meet these goals, we developed a cross‑platform application powered by a secure and scalable backend. Our focus was on creating seamless user journeys for every stakeholder while maintaining strict security and compliance standards.
For users, we built a simple registration process with email/phone sign‑up, OTP verification during registration, password management, and profile preferences.
For admins, we developed a powerful dashboard to manage users and vendors, approve campaigns, control coupon categories, update content, send targeted notifications, and access real‑time analytics with CSV export options.
To ensure a smooth experience for all stakeholders, we added multilingual support, confirmation dialogs for sensitive actions, and clear permission prompts for notifications, camera, and location.
We built a secure sign-up process with email or phone registration, password visibility toggle, and OTP verification during registration for enhanced security.
Our team created a smooth profile setup where users can add their name, contact details, birth date, gender, and country of birth. It also includes permission prompts for location sharing and notifications.
Vendors can register by uploading NIF, DNI, and representative ID documents. We designed an approval workflow where submissions remain inactive until approved by the admin.

Our solution allows vendors to create coupons with terms, quantity, and expiration details. The admin can assign coupons and campaigns while controlling labels and categories.
The application generates QR codes that can be scanned by users or vendors for redemption. A complete history with timestamps and validity checks is maintained.
We built a powerful admin panel to manage user and vendor accounts, approve or suspend profiles, and request additional documents. Admins can also edit FAQs, Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and About Us sections, and send targeted notifications.
Push notifications alert users about new promotions or upcoming campaign expiries. Users can rate vendors, and admins can view feedback to monitor service quality.
Our team added detailed analytics to track redemption statistics, campaign performance, and vendor activities. Admins can export CSV reports for campaign payouts.
The interface supports English, Spanish, and Chinese. Users and vendors must accept Terms & Conditions and verify their account via OTP for compliance and security.

We redesigned the flow so that OTP is used only during registration. The authentication was changed to a password‑based system with email/phone identifiers, while retaining OTP for account recovery. This reduced login friction while keeping new user verification secure.
Vendor onboarding required multiple identity documents (NIF, DNI, representative ID). Initial uploads sometimes failed due to large file sizes and unsupported formats.
We introduced client‑side file validation and automatic compression for large uploads. The backend was updated to accept PDF/JPG/PNG formats up to a fixed limit. An admin queue with status tracking ensured vendors could see whether their documents were approved or rejected, improving transparency.
QR‑code redemption was unreliable when network connectivity was weak, which affected user experience during busy campaigns.
We built offline QR scanning support on the vendor app. Redemption data was stored locally and synced to the server when the device came back online, ensuring no loss of transaction history.
Campaign redemptions generated large datasets. The dashboard became slow when fetching redemption history and analytics for high-traffic campaigns.
We optimized the backend with lazy loading and indexed queries. Analytics were pre-aggregated at regular intervals, allowing instant retrieval on the dashboard. This improved load times for heavy campaigns by more than 60%.
