Idea Inception
The client knocked the doors of Idea Usher with an idea of constructing a cross chain NFT bridge for transferring NFTs from one EVM based chain to another EVM based chain. The challenge behind creating this multi-chain NFT platform was to keep the provenance and metadata of a particular token intact even if it is burned on that blockchain.
Our Solution
Idea Usher strived hard to bring the idea to life and ended up creating a robust and intuitive all-inclusive cross chain NFT bridge for transferring NFTs from one EVM based chain to another EVM based chain. This solution will allow users to transfer their NFTs seamlessly between two blockchains with minimal effort.
Retrieving the metadata and transaction data associated with the NFTs, deploying the smart contracts, creating an automated backend and a user-friendly frontend to connect the MetaMask wallet were the key objectives that Idea Usher presented as a solution.
Key Deliverables
Retrieving the metadata and transaction data associated with the NFT from various blockchains using API endpoints.
Deploying the needed smart contracts on all the chains for burning and minting of NFTs.
Creating an automated Node Js backend for the burning and minting process.
Creating a frontend in React Js for the user to see the NFTs when they connect their MetaMask wallet and burn them to a selected chain.
Adding support for various EVM based chains like Polygon(Matic), Binance smart chain, Ethereum, Avalanche and phantom.
